Testimonials

  • Excellent prompt service on prepurchase exam that allowed me to complete purchase and receive horse in Northern CA within one week of test ride. Very positive comments from my veterinarian on competency and completeness of exam and radiographs.
  • Thank you to Dr. Garfinkle and Gary for providing great care for Smokey in an emergency and for your support throughout his "mystery" illness last week. He came home yesterday from San Luis Rey Equine Hospital and is doing great. His owner Ambre McMillan Ying, BFF Danica Taylor and I are all incredibly grateful for your attentive care, concern and expertise. Jody
  • Gary and Christi,

Thank you for all the kindness and care with Berry Boy. Dr. Kemper has been great. Here is a photo of Berry Boy in the Texas Barrels class. He won a 3rd place ribbon.

  • Dear Christi,

Thank you for the excellent health care you provide for our family’s horses. I can’t tell you the number of times you’ve helped give Jennifer and myself peace of mind during stressful situations. You’ve always been there for both of us.

    Very Appreciatively, Francie Hansen

  • Christi:

I just got back in town and I wanted to fire off an email to you and THANK YOU SO MUCH for coming to the aide of my beloved Cowboy!!!!  I was ill (literally!) with worry when I found out he had colic on Saturday morning. Making it worse was the fact that I couldn’t rush to his side to be with him myself!  I was so relieved to know that you would be doctoring him.
  • Dr. Garfinkel is truly concerned about the well being of your horse. She found a clogged tear duct missed by two previous vets. (Should have called her first but tried to save some money sharing a barn call with a different vet.) From now on, I'll pay the extra and get the best equine vet in town. Thank you Dr. Garfinkel!
  • Thank you Christi for all that you do for my beloved horse family. Whether it is routine care, a specific injury or illness, or a devastating event, we count on you and you bring us your expertise, knowledge, trustworthiness, and compassion. We are truly grateful to have you in our family!
  • Dr Garfinkel provides excellent, personalized care for both our girls. She took the time to call me on a Saturday afternoon to discuss X-ray results, because she knows how worried I am and didn't want me to have to wait until Monday. She was thoroughly in her explanation and her calm demeanor helped ease my nerves a bit.
